and as for a Slugging!! we had you on the ropes for 60 mins which even your players realised taking a 2pts from a penalty....when have aus EVER done that, their normally FAR too arrogent yet last night you knew you were in the game.

The only difference between the sides last night was your kicking masterclass towards the end, which was only so effective as you are admittedly fitter than us (prob due to the intensity of your comp). We sort that out and as last night showed were not as far away from you as you would like to think!

Plus the fact I think the fact that you had one of your international greats on the field coaching the team must have helped.....at one point when you got a penalty you only got it as langer protested to the ref FFS!! Pathetic! Langer should have had the captains armband last night as he did more talking than lockyer.

would like to say that for 50/60 mins ov the game england looked to be in with a chance apart from the blatantly blind touch judge who couldnt see swinging arms,high tackles,off side at ptb and the slightly shady decisions from the ref,england were shown a masterclass in rugby in the second half especially lockyers kicking game.

agree, from where i was sat alot of swinging arms going on,Gallen i think the worst culprit.

If we as england fans look for excuses the aussies deserve a medal for whinging,we have heard it throughout the series from the very top, to the coach down to the players(Thurston case of point)

Its somethink that must be allowed in Australia & New Zealand. As I said last week. They were on the field for much of the 2nd half last week. Although Langer wasnt on much to begin with, when Australia were behind he was on every set they they were on the attack. To me this is an unfair advantage. You mention Hanley, well next year, have him coaching on the field every set we attack. Then we shall see what happens.
