He's well liked by a fair number of the Storm fans, and a lot want to find someway to give him some first grade run outs next season but it's difficult with Slater being the incumbent fullback - I guess his best opportunity is around Origin time. |

Much as I hate to admit it, if England could find a bunch of NRL-regulars qualified to play for them, I'd take them in an instant, dodgy grandparents and all.
Widdop's last comment is probably the saddest reflection on the state of SL.

It was possibly the worst game ive ever seen but it was still a billion times higher than NL1.
NL1 teams cant even compete with the lowqest of SL teams, never mind the best from the top |

I think his best chance of breaking through tob the first grade is to mould himself into the Lance Hohaia mould, could play both 1 and 6 well. |
