Quote: Enfield Exile "Just like lickle Shaun did to big, bad Bradley Clyde. Is Brad still crying about it? He was spewing years later, pathetic wimp.
A few years ago I was talking to an Aussie friend, who was a fair bit older than me, and his knowledge of RL was far head of someone like you. He liked his banter and would have a dig about us not being good at RL. He said that the two toughest players to have played the game in Australia were all British - Mal Reilly and Cliff Watson.
Funnily enough, I was at some 'do' after a Sharks game at Toyota Park and they had some awards 'do' (may have been something like a Sharks hall of fame, I can't quite remember), and someone got up to talk about Cliff Watson, and that person said he was the toughest player to have played in Australia. It was met with approval by older members of the audience, including Chris Anderson and Andrew Ettingshausen.'"
dont lower yourself to that idiots level, brad clyde is far from a pathetic wimp. there havnt been too many more courageous players than clyde, he was never hard in the brawling or busting heads type of way, but the man never stopped, played injured, and always gave 100% for whatever team he played for. i liken edwards dog shot to that of lambs on hanley. how lamb didnt get sent off that day ill never know!
