Richards is a better overall player. His kicking may not be quite as accurate, but it is far more powerful, his dropouts are the best in Super League IMO.

Fundamentally flawed from the start, Frano Botica played most of his Wigan games at stand-off, the era in which Mr s Edwards took over the scrum-half berth.


Pedantic hat off.......... Botica was the better kicker, first time the dead-ball was regularly kicked pointing towards the posts which i think most players do now.

Richards has much more power but Botica was hardly ever missed from under 40 yards. "It's like shelling peas for this lad..." as Frenchie once said
