Chris Caisley, former Bulls chairman and now players agent is insisting there is a lot of interest in Bradford's Sam Burgess from several Aussie sides.
Caisley said: "My phone has been red hot. There has been plenty of interest from clubs in Australia, I would say from half of the NRL clubs."
He has always had an ambition to give Australia a shot and he thinks he can make a big impression."
I suppose he will be tempted to see if he can emulate Gareth Ellis, one of the few who has made a go of it in the NRL in recent memory. Anyone think he might stay in the UK, with the Bulls or any other side instead

Quote: We would definitely not consider (releasing him) for that. "Bradford chairman Peter Hood has, however, moved to douse NRL interest by warning it would take a significant financial inducement for the club to release him before the end of 2011.
Asked whether he would allow Burgess to leave for $500,000, Hood replied

| Quote: Frosties. "Jordan Tansey, Richie Mathers?'"
Mathers only played 6 games and hobbled back home with busted legs, you cant count that as a success
Tansey played 7 at the Roosters and ran for it.
If that is success you need to raise your benchmark somewhat.
