Heard there were over 7,000 on aswell. So was it a good idea to have it in Paris?'"
Most certainly, though there were thousands of free ticket vouchers placed on car windscreens in the vicinity of the ground. Strangely, there were a lot of French-based students from the US while plenty of locals who were drawn to the game. The seats behind the sticks (to the right of the cameras) was actually closed with 5 minutes before kick off - concerning as that's where our tickets were for - but they ended up opening 5 blocks of the stand in all, with the crowds still pouring in with 20 minutes of the game gone!
Certainly a worthwhile exercise, though they'd be daft to play any Four Nations games there - common sense would be to play one at Perpignan and the other at Toulouse and get a patriotic crowd behind them.
