| Really enjoyed being in Oz for the World Cup last year and looking forward to the four nations next year. Saving hard and hoping that the England v New Zealand game is held in NZ. Would also be nice to see England play their fixture against the Pacific Island team that qualifies on that island as well. Does it look as though the England v Australia game could be in Melbourne again then?

| the kiwis ARE the only one that can adjust...we can't as proved in the world cup,the above stat show australia struggle sometimes....
and all the while NZ are picking up trophies....fair play to them
| | |
| Its always funny seeing clueless poms talking about the International game.
I liked the one where GB wasnt England England isn GB.....its all the same thing, players from the same part of Europe that cant play for ****.
I also like the one about the Super League refs.....forgetting that one of them was an Australian!
Hold on, there is a new Jamacan web site.....

| just cos he was an aussie did'nt stop him being a ESL ref ya dip..
the different Interpretations of the laws between our refs & your refs is one of the biggest problems international RL faces..hence why we whinged about not playing under a "northern hemisphere ref" during the world cup and the ARL & ricky stuart insisting on NRL refs for all their games..which led to ricky stuart screaming into colin loves face, after they lost the world cup, LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE...cos they put a ESL ref & video ref in charge the game..

29281_1270406980.jpg When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

| As a side foot to having Aussie's self ejaculating amongst themselves is there a chance of getting back to the main purpose of the thread.
Have there been any developments in announcing date/venues for next year’s tour? There are many many Brits wishing to come over and contribute to the Aussie economy, unlike the tour games over here which just attract the Aussie migrant workers that live in inhabitable bed-sits and eat homemade spag bol every day.
It'll be a change for you lot to have an atmosphere at the game instead of over sized flag waving and the odd chant of 'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oye, oye, oye'

| Quote: The Glorious League Freak "You know the difference between 1910 and 2010?
100 years.
You know back then people used to ride horses to work, out houses were your only option, you didnt buy a house, you built it, and you couldnt drink the water without getting sick.
It was a lot like modern day Salford really.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that, things that worked 100 years ago sometimes wont translate well into 2010 life.
A lot like your modern resident of Salford.
So you take a "Northern Union" team, which is basically that ****ing sh*t aweful side you took to Australia for last years World Cup. You throw them in yet a different jersey, give them yet another name.
So now you want to play New South Wales. New South Wales only play State Of origin matches, three games in the middle of the season, but now you want to sell a game between a much loved and followed side against a bunch of p*ss poor Poms who are so busy fight over petty little club rivalries between little old towns in little old Northern England, to really care to much about playing football.
Not that they can do that well to begin with.
But lets say in some strange world, this contest actually happens, and New South Wales walks it in with a 50 point win in front of 15,000 fans.
Now we are off to Queensland, and Queensland is still in the 1980's, so at least its only an 80 year spread there. Still, after a week of everyone laughing at the previous weeks pathetic contest, 10,000 turn up to see Queensland put 70 past whats left of this stupid pommy outfit you've thrown together.
Its all a learning process though!
So now you have Tests to sell against Australia and then New Zealand....
Do you see where I'm going with this.
Its a stupid, stupid idea. Stupid.'"
My god!
People are looking at me in the office wanting to know why I'm crying with laughter at my desk
