They reckon that 10% of the crowd were locals.
That's a crowd of 6000 for a place that doesn't even have a team!
If there were 14 teams + Edinburgh then on average each team contributed 3857 speccies whereas Edinburgh / locals contributed 6000.
Seems it was therefore probably better supported by locals than pretty much by fans of most of the individual clubs.
Put that in yer pipe and smoke it.

easy peasy
cash is ok at all levels you just can manipulte who that cash was for, so long as there is no tickets for adults and children issued at the gate.
then you play around with non turnstile entries in corporate and season ticket holders in stands and jobs a good un.
er thats in theory of course, i would frown upon any club that did this. |

However, whenever a SL match is a sell out, the announced attendance is usually given as the ground capacity - which is almost impossible, given some season ticket holders are surely going to be on holiday or at work or otherwise unable to attend. |
