Bradford Vs Wigan in the playoffs...2007 I think it was?
Bradford were cleaning house at Odsal but Wigan came back and posted up 28 odd points courtesy of a masterpiece display by Trent Barratt!  |

Wire were getting near the line but no matter what the Cougar defence held them out.
The they gave the ball to a player in an impossible situation.
There was no way the player could score, the number of defenders was immense and only a genius player could get through.
Stand up Jonathon Davies.
He had no right to score that try, the defence was that good but he did. He jinked, weaved and showed quick acceleration leaving the defenders grasping fresh air.
No one else could have scored that try and even though it cost the Cougars the game the applause from both sets of supporters was brilliant.
One of the best players ,IMHO, ever to play the game.'"
Outstanding moment of brilliance by Jiffy, backed up by the fact that we got a penalty just before that play and he kicked it about 80 meters to set up the position. Some games are won by one player and that certainly was one of them. |

We haven't suffered that badly - I guess McGuire in the Challenge Cup semi a few years back is the worst I can remember.

GB V Australia at the City of Manchester Stadium in something like 2004.
Opening match of the tri-nations, and on the back of the test series the year before where we also lost all the matches in the last minute. We took a 10-0 lead at half time; Aus battled back and literally scored on the last play.
It was a case of 'here we go again'. Still, we had a good up afterwards in Mary Ds.
