Sorry but that is complete rubbish. There is no such thing as a regional variation as far as Sky+ is concerned, they are just channels the same as any other. If you are having problems then it is a technical fault with your box and nothing to do with restrictions.

In fact I still have a copy of The Super League Show from 2006 and a Look North from 2007 on my Sky+, both recorded in London from BBC East Yorks, which both still work.

For anybody with freeview this weeks show is being shown all day today on channel 301

Freeview. However I'm sure i remember saying it would be available on red button for freeview throughout season. Ah well, much easier just to record the programmes on HDD.

I think you will find sky BBC1 channel 101 would NOT have shown Superleague show yesterday whereas BBC north(976) did

It'll always show on Sky Channel 101 but only if you live in the Granada (North West), Yorkshire or Tyne Tees (North East & Cumbria) Regions.

If you live outside those areas you have to watch it on either one of channels 975, 976, 977 or 978 instead of 101.

That depends on where you live, but my point was about how Sky+ works technically. It has no idea that some channels are variations of others, they are all simply channels as far as it is concerned. There is no special technology that treats some differently because they are related to others to prevent you watching them more than once.

How obvious was it that Ray French's commentary was added to the Wakefield v Saints highlights after the game!

So obvious it was shocking

BBC North includes Yorkshire.

I know it does my point is...if the show is only shown in the North it will not be on channel 101 in the North but only on the regional (976)
