No i was born and bred in Cas lived in Cas for 25 years and would back tommorow but the wife wheres the pants in my house so i have no chance.
But living near Batley 10 years defo my 2 team and i watch them about 4 times a year my daughters are cheerleeders for Batley but i am die hard Cas lad at hart.

when cas play at wigan it doesnt set the pulse racing.
similarly my wire, catalans, leeds and saints mates don't look for the cas game when the fixture list comes out.
one of the fixtures they look forward to is wigan.
im not knocking castleford there, that's just what happens. maybe there are some wigan fans who plan their year around the cas game, i just haven't met them yet.

I have never met anyone who planned the season around any fixture that wasnt a derby, i have never met a cas fan that wanted to attend a match specifically because it was wigan. I just dont think fans think like that.

I shouldnt have got drawn into to making it about wigan either, i just find this whole'greatest club' thing ridiculous.

quite a few supporters change things around to go to catalans, wembley, magic weekend

I plan my season around the GF, it would be great if it was a derby but I doubt Cas will get there.
