No. Marcus Allen was never a punt/kick returner. He was a general running back, with passing skills, who had an extraordinary career. Marcus is a Hall of Famer, and Heisman Trophy winner, and he won numerous great awards.
Devin Hester is still playing at age 32 (formerly Chicago now Atlanta), and though he is not as big as Marcus Allen, he is faster. Hester has scored the greatest number of touchdowns from punt/kick returner in the history of the NFL. He could become a Hall of Famer after he retires.
