Where's the evidence that Shaun Wane is thick? He's big, used to be a forward and has a strong accent. That's about all people have to go on when they spout this.
On the the other hand, he took over a very young squad, that most said would have problems, and took them to the League Leader's Shield, playing attractive rugby. I reckon he might be a lot smarter than you think.
