Yes it is, really !
Getting accross the M62 any evening is difficult and it doesn't take an awful lot to mean that attending fixtures "on the other side" after a days work is not always possible.
Many people finish a touch earlier on Fridays, but there isnt the same finish time on Mondays.
As I said in an earlier post, if its a local fixture, then there is no problem/ excuse but, try getting from Wigan/ Saints over to one of the Hull clubs and you have to finish work early or not go.
Its not rocket science, just rush hour traffic.

But all the monday night games are fairly local anyway (isn't this one of the furthest journeys?)

I think it's brilliant recognition for our sport that we've been chosen to replace the regular football spot.

truth is though most rugby fans dont turn up when they are told to they turn up when they feel like it, unlike football fans who will turn up when ever, poor crowd for us i agree 2000 less than last lowest crowd this season, but still 500 more than was at widnes the previous sunday, i predict it wont be the last lowest crowd of the season for several clubs, the other 2 matches so far one was on a bank holiday, the other leeds saints lets wait and see the rest.

Its a terrible crowd considering the quality of players, form in recent years and size of town. The club really need to do some PR work.
