| Quote just_jillie="just_jillie"Wembly or Twickenham....'"
Decent ideas and it would be good to promote the game in London again. Then again Twickenham is a Yawnion ground.
Out of interest, why have you dug up a topic from months ago?

| TBH, London would be better in terms of getting media interest. If you think the M62 is seen as provincial, it's nothing compared to how badly Wales is looked down on.

| I hear Cardiff to help the game develop, two clubs of any note Scorpions and Crusaders might end up just Scorpions.
Leave them with that let them develop slowly.
Edinburgh: Scotland population 5 million for the whole country, bloody hell Gtr Manchester has 3 million people with pro clubs on its doorstep, leave it, it really isn't worth it.
Catalan do fine we don't need to take it to France.
London it is for me, we have Quins who really struggle and are apparently integral to the Sky deal so we need Quins, we also need to help them out and there are plenty of clubs springing up and more and more kids taking the game up. People say we have Wembley but that's one game for 2 clubs.
Put it either at The Emirates end of the football season or be cheeky and put it in Twickenham or even the new Olympic stadium.

| Yeah the RFL need to regain confidence in fans that RL in London will work and this could be the perfect opportunity.
It'll also open the eyes of non RL fans in London and hopefully by the 2013 WC we will have more fans in London and the game will have spread down there

| The "weekend" games have never been promoted in the right way and has always been at the expense of the travelling league fans.
There is a lot of league played in the midlands area so what about holding it in Birmingham, Aston Villas ground holds 42000 fans.
If the RFL want to market the game properly then reserve 32000 for the existing league fans, give 5000 tickets away to the kids with proof of living in the Birmingham area, the other 5000 tickets for Birmingham area residents at £8 a
ticket.

| It depends what the identity of the event is, what is the magic weekend actually for?
If it is to make money and sell tickets then the game MUST be in the North and probably in a few different stadiums.
If the event is honestly to spread the game then it MUST be South Wales or London. Another great location would be the Olympic stadium in Barcelona. The Warrington game there was a great success. If Rugby League could get a real foothold in that region then expansion could flow from there to other parts of spain and france and the rest of europe.

| Again it will NEVER be played in a football ground in either the on or off season. If its to stay as the first game of the season. Then Cardiff is the only logical location.

| Scrap it completely. Surely it's cheating to play an extra game which is chosen by individuals rather than randomly?
