He makes a good point. It's important that we have lads from Bradford wanting to play for Bradford. I think maybe only Conroy is a Bradfordian currently in 1st team squad. Over the past few years we seem to have raped Halifax & District for their lads and we seem to have a number of lads of Rochdale amongst our junior ranks as well.
Not sure how strong the junior game is in Bradford at the moment but hopefully it has improved somewhat from when I was playing. There was only really us and Dudley Hill in our age group from Bradford.
It would be nice if we could manage to build strong enough links with schools in Bradford and encourage their pupils to try this great game and fill out amateur clubs ranks from 8s to 18s.
Also are we still trying to engage the Asian community. Surely there is vast amounts of u tapped potential there.
