I know there is thread on the NRL forum but for those who may not check it often, the NRL is to return to our screens on MSK channel 433. No subscription needed apparently.

According my tv guide, games on this week:
Saturday = Newcastle/North Queensland
Sunday = Brisbane/Cronulla
Doesn't say what the Friday match is, but there's only two games that day, so it'll either be Gold Coast/St. George or Wests/Canterbury.
Excellent news that it's finally back somewhere I can watch it!

Good news indeed. However, this is Setanta by another name, so it'll be interesting to see how long it remains free to air!

Considering at the moment they only have NRL and Irish sports at the moment I can see it TBH. |

One thing it does make me think is that Sky really don't want the NRL. If they did, they could have surely outbid such a small channel like this (I appreciate they're owned by Setanta, but I can't see that they will have paid a lot to show it on a free channel most people haven't heard of).
I'm not fussed either way. I'm just glad it's on and that it's not ESPN (since I don't pay for that). If it stays on a free channel or on Sky Sports, it's all good for me.

Are we certain the channel is actually free? I've never watched it - or ventured up to be honest as don't have ESPN or any of the Chelsea pay tv channels.
