| Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "I do not think that the referee, if asked, would honestly reply that yes, he genuinely felt Catalans mainatined the 10 for every tackle, for the full 80. And as no team ever did that, he would be lying if he did. But why did he never pull them for offside? Keeping his eye on other things? Choosing not to look? I have no idea, but it really infuriated the crowd, and it wasn't the only thing that did. Many's the time that most of their team blatantly lined up ahead of Bentham but he ignored it. (Lest I am accused of bias - I'm not - he didn't pull us either, and I think the pen count ended up quite even)'"
I'm glad i'm not the only one to have noticed the "quick" defences.
The problem with the Bulls is that we are too honest, and we retreat the 10 and then wait for the ball to be played. Big teams like Catalan then gain momentum and run over the forwards.
I have noticed that Wigan were masters at this when they last came to Odsal. Our forwards struggled to make 20 meters in a set of 5. They 'appeared' quick in defence, but they were all pushing through before the ball was played.

| Towards the end of the game on Sunday I was thinking that not one penalty had to be given against either team for offside, don't care how disciplined the teams are, this just cannot happen

It isn't of course quite as forward as it looks from the stills, as momentum does come into play, but unless there is a huge hole in Langley, the ball had to come from behind that position, and all the officials missing it, despite a huge roar from the crowd who all saw it instantly, clearly, from every part of the ground, is just an inexplicable travesty'" Congratulations on an excellant piece of detective work.

| Quote: Bull Mania "I agrees he made some howlers. The back to 0 he gave it hit langleys back was an awful call, particularly when he ignored what I thought were some blatant attempts at the ball from Catalans and didn't wipe the tackle count.
The 7 tackle accusation I can't comment on. I thought they had too many tackles but I thought that's because he gave zero. Not happy that all 6 officials missed some of the foul play on our players.
That said it was in our hands and we have thrown it away. Even wen Kearney was sin binned the Henderson try was as soft as they come. Basic school boy errors like not crouching down at the play the ball. Unforunately them silly school boy errors have cost us many points throughout the season and that's the reason we're not in the play-offs, not because of Benthams inept display.'"
Did anyone see how Diskin was obstructed by the player who played the ball to Henderson which resulted in the last try. He looked to be holding him back?

Didn't notice anything much really. I did notice the gap between Walker and Diskin. Such a basic try, neither were crouched and they left a gaping hole which Henderson just fell into. Diskin and Walker were signed for their experience then go and do something that even an 18 year old should be bollicked for!

| I've just watched the SLTV tries. For the first Bulls tries there were 2 line balls in the build up - one from Gale (who got flattened in the process) & the money ball (!) from Addy. Neither deserved to be called forward & no amount of high tech gizmo could prove it either way. Similarly the Bosc pass, there's no way would I say it was definitely forward. Diskin was not obstructed in any remote way for the last try, he was too ashamed to lift his head up never mind complain to the ref.
I don't know what stick Pryce took, if any, but his reactions seemed rather OTT.

| OTT? Pryce's reactions to winning were so OTT I thought he'd just found out he'd won the Euromillions.

| Is O'Brien fit? Looks like an opportunity for the lad is beckoning.

He was cheering because his team came back from what seemed would to be an almost definite loss, It's ridiculous to say he shouldn't show his happiness about this.

| No problem with Leon jumping about;, he'd just won, why shouldn't he be happy?
In any case, he seemed to cut it pretty short, so I guess he realised how it might be interpreted.

| It was immediately after Cats last try that I noticed it. No idea what he did at the end of the game. I have never seen a player get so excited about a potential match drawing try with 6 minutes left.

He was jumping about as thought trying to climb a non-existant rope ladder [sorry, best I can do], but just momentarily - it quickly passed.
