Good effort again but our execution was poor at times and it cost us. A few too many errors that gifted Wire possession and points. We needed to play close to our best to get a result today, but it just didn't quite happen unfortunately.

Jamie Child is not fit to referee top flight rugby league

Solid? He doesn't run for the line when he has the ball and dives for the ground when anyone comes within 10 yards of him. His biggest nightmare is having the ball fall into his hands and he has to try and do something about it. Strange how some players get away with being poor and others don't! Hargreaves makes a mistake despite being solid most of the season and gets slated.

Does anyone know how Elliot Kear is getting along? He was injured around the same time as Gale if I remember, and supposedly out of action for the same length of time. There's been no mention of how his recovery was going though.
