I dont think any club will throw off their previous prudent approach: most will have headroom in their plans for just such an opportunistic addition, it has just happened a bit earlier than usual, and with time for at least some pre-season. Alternatively the sugar daddy of those clubs will fund it. And finally, what about the players? dont they deserve a bit of help finding jobs at this time of the season, or should they have to wait a year? |

the link is that Pacific Trend Investment ltd Hong Kong own Greenwoods since it went into admin in 2009. I would have thought their customer demographics would mean a greater probability of sponsoring a Union club than League.
