I've sent details to all at the Bulls so contact them for the best advice, as the most impact can be gained if your walk could culminate on the pitch at a home game. Advance publicity should be sought from every source with press releases to every paper and SKY plus BBC.
You may even get a spot on local area news.

How much has been raised?

Over £1600 so far . I'm unable to add any yet as still waiting for sponsor forms . Been doing lots of practice walking . Decided that just going for a long walk is a great deal easier than aiming for a distance and actually getting it completed . Walking for pleasure for a good distance is totally different to doing it with the sole aim of just adding the miles . No blisters yet . Thought I had over-done it yesterday , but I got lucky . I am just waiting for delivery of anti-blister socks (should be here in around 20 mins ) and I am heading out in the rain to test my waterproofs .

It's all good fun .( apart from £84 worth of socks lol )

I underestimated how difficult it is going to be . Am used to being on my feet all day , but that is no help at all . you would be shocked at where you get sores when you strap a rucksack to your back with three gallons of water in it and go for a VERY long walk . Can barely walk downhill atm . Uphill is easy . And for some reason my ass cheeks are sore . ( no i didn't get bummed as i walked through the woods before you ask lol ). I did get shot at by some very nice person with an air-rifle . Think they were trying to knock my orange hat off .

Have you tried those walking poles? They helped me do the three peaks, especially the downhill bits when I had cramp.
