| Quote Asim="Asim"If the RFL have agreed to pay the players wages and all the other staff have been sacked then there's not that much else he needs to fund (apart from himself).
There's only so much you can expect the coaching staff to put up with though, there have been plenty of football managers/coaches who've gone unpaid for lengthy admin periods, but their players had been deferring salary too.'"
But the money saved by not having to pay administrater, could have paid for the none playing staff?
Or is that just wishfull thinking?

Well that seems to confirm that the RL are advancing enough money to pay the August wages.
Wages are paid on the 14th of the month I believe, so presumably that means we can pay the players for the period August 14th to September 14th, which actually [iwould[/i take us right to end of the season if we don't qualify for the Play Offs.
Not sure how we're meant to manage with no coaching or backroom staff though?

But then the business doesn't have the "protection" of being in administration and the creditors (ie HMRC) are due payment.

Depends whether wages are paid for work already done or work to come or some combination of the two. Most jobs your paid for the month just worked but dont know how rugby league contracts are handled in this respect.

| Quote JINJER="JINJER"Go on then, were's the punch line?
They've bent over backwards to help you, they've bought your iconic groundthey (secretly/slyly) gave you £700,000,they forwarded you SKY money and they're paying the staff wages to ensure you survive this season,i'd suggest you open your eyes and appreciate that the RFL are doing their level best to keep you afloat and in SL way beyond this year!
We needed £150,000 to get us out of the mire, and what help did we get, funk all!!But after saying that we've come out much better in the long run.
I'm not blagging the Bulls or the majority of you specci's and I sincerely hope the Bulls come out of this bigger, stronger and still in SL.But you really have to do away with the self pity.
Fire away!
'"
So where's the evidence they are trying to keep us in Super League? Yes they gave a loan, which they recovered with buying the leasehold. Since then the only money they have handed over is advance payments which have helped tide us over, but is not extra money. If they were so determined they would accept any bid, not put huge obstacles in the way. Advancing cash says let's finish the season then pull the plug

| The plain facts are if the RFL hadn't helped us out we would be in even worse crap now, I'm sick and tired now of listening to so called bulls fans bitching on how badly done to they are, nobody knows what gun the abc consortium are holding to the RFL's head, yet you all reckon to be in the know.
They've thrown bucket loads of money our way in the last 24 months just to keep us afloat, they didn't have to, why should the RFL look weak and bow down to this group when one of them has just taken his bat and ball home!
It makes me sick that people think they have the right to demand when they havent got all the facts in front of them!
Bradford and the sdminstraters have got is into this crap not the RFL, as a fan of this club for 30 years I couldnt bring myself to support them again I knew we had heald a gun to the RFL's head. We are family club with (I thought higher morals than that) a a reputation of being honest, I couldn't support knowing we had ridden rough shot over everything we stand for!
Selfish and ungreatfull springs to mind regarding some so called fans!
I hope everyone's quite happy with themselves who screamed for admin, it's turning us into a soiled little club!!!
Rant over!

What a loan repaid in full? If they had written it off, now that would be a different story.

There are very few people/organisations that can book a meeting at City hall at short notice though.
Off the top of my head, the Council themselves have finally decided that they need to be involved in the process as ultimately they own the land and they want to set the record straight.
Or- the Khan/Sutcliffe bid want to tell us something.
Other than that - I can't think of anyone else'"
David Green (Council Leader) attended the last meeting and said that he would make sure that City Hall would be available should any further meetings be arranged. Think thats the main reason.

So they should just of written off the £700,000 (if I remember correctly) loan?! You really are having a laugh.
Blake Solly has said today that the RFL are considering paying the August wages after a request from BG. If that's not helping out I really don't know what is.
