At least twice on this thread I said it was a great result. Therefore a wee bit more research would maybe help the argument.

Ah! That old chestnut. I always wonder how long it will be before such a comment was made. That must be the Bradford Mantra I reckon?
Quite simply I was stating that it was an excellent result but it will mean absolutely sod all if, as expected, we fail to reach the play-offs. One could also question why it is that we seem to up our game against certain near neighbours and are generally abject everywhere else?
I really don't care if some of the people on here have me pegged as some sort of dour miserableist as I am simply saying things as I see them and I am keeping some sort of realism about the season.
It is not that long ago that plenty on here were laughing at Huddersfield for bringing out t-shirts celebrating a long overdue win. Their fans were mocked too, probably by some of the same people who are now doing EXACTLY the same on this thread. What an embarrassing bunch!
FFS one win and suddenly Sykes has silenced all his critics, people are calling for a number of players to immediately get an England call up and we are dominant in the rain??? What a load of balls.
Maybe for another thread but you could well ask how the players who were capable of that sort of result (and performance) have dished us up so much garbage for the rest of the season? They have cheated the fans up till now but now that they have shown what they are capable of we will soon see if it was indeed a one off freak result against a Huddersfield side on an off-day or whether it is indeed the shape of things to come?
That said, I remember similar on here the day after Worrincy scored a late score at Knowsley Road to beat the Saints in 2009. And we all know how things panned out that season don't we?
