| Quote af="af"given that the Bulls logo is pretty well known these days, maybe merchandising (t shirts, baseball caps) that just used its outline would look good in a minimalist sort of way.'"
I don't see why we don't try and turn the brand into clothing. But I do see why the club don't. It'd probably be a positve move and anything like that is RIGHT OUT when it comes to Bradford

| Dear Mr Hood,
I wonder if you realise how dispiritating the range and quality of caterering at the Gratton Stadium really is for the rank and file supporters.
No doubt there are commercial agreements in place and franchises that benefit the Bulls in some financial way.
However it is clear to me that fewer customers are taking the "burger option" and those few that do are under sufference from a lack of any other alternative, especially those with children.
I will not propound the singulaly unheathly options available as this is not germain, rather I would ask you to consider providing a catering service to the fans of diversion.
I know that that the 20/30 people round ourselves in the Black seats eat their own sandwiches, quartered pork pies, roasted sausages, tuna salads,
chicken fricasses, onion bahgis, tandoori chicken legs, pop, crisps and sweets , and a miriad of of vegetarian meals that they have brought with them.
Are are you truly aware of your lost catering revenue.
Are you conscious of your lack of provision of healthy foods
Do you not want to provide your customers with catering options to provide a better experience at the stadium
Can you understand that the majority of supporters abhor the present rubish food on offer
Mr Hood, Get a grip. This is not rocket science

Yes my family often used to eat at Odsal as there was a good choice. Now there is no way I would buy any of the limited food available there and bring a home made picnic.

| Any chance of taking up various offers from Bulls fans to re-design the website to a professional standard?
The black background is terrible and the whole site looks dated. I don't check the site more than once every fortnight or so.. surely the official website should be one of the best sources for news on the Bulls?

| The problem is not the redesigning of the site. I have do doubt there are a number of people on here who could easily write a better website than the one we have. The problem is that it would need constantly updating and who would do that on a daily basis without being paid a lot of money?
If the club could afford it I'm sure they'd have someone to do that kind of thing full time but it's not likely really considering most of the people up there do 5 jobs anyway because of cuts!

I'd like to see all the players asked a questionaire, so we can find out what their favourite foods are, if they are married, what is thier favourite colours. I bet none of them pick the burgers from Odsal as their favourite food, except perhaps Solomona and Big Joe.
How about a nude calendar (of the players) with tactically placed rugby balls free online - if it gets around by word of mouth we can attract a whole new audience to Odsal!

. . . . shame they couldn't link it up their work with [ipartners [/i(colleges etc) to encourage students to do that as part of their course work.
Free to the Bulls & developmental for the students . . . . . and providing them with experience of the wider issues associated with web design . . . managing expectations / people (customer) dynamics and management . . . . .

| Managing a professional website is a full time job. Handing it over to students who might be able to do it for an hour or so a week for one or two terms would not work.
Other clubs pay web companies to design and maintain them and use tools provided with the website to update it day-to-day themselves.

| Well I appreciate what you're saying Andrea but surely a website is a pretty important tool to connect with fans? Surely we could at least upgrade it a little.. if only give it a bit of a facelift.. not talking all singing and dancing. Just something that you can at least read without it taking 20 secs for your eyes to re-adjust!!
Where do the cuts end?
Just seems pretty embarrassing when even our own fans don't really use the site. Or am I in the minority?

| I agree totally. It really needs making into something like [url=http://www.rabbitohs.com.au/this[/url, or[url=http://www.manutd.com/this[/url, or even [url=http://www.nba.com/bulls/this[/url.
The third one has a black background but is full of features which make you want to use the website and keep going back.
Only Leeds rhinos have one worse than ours.
I think it's important enough to do what these clubs have done and pay for someone to do a professional job.
Getting someone to do one in their spare time would not cut the mustard if we're to be seen as a professional organisation.
It could be the first thing that potential sponsors see of your organisation and so it's vital to give it priority.
I've discussed this with people at the club and they have agreed with me.
We still have the crappy old website though so I guess they don't believe me!

In principle, of course, I agree with you <there's one Bulls fan in Brighouse who'd probably be a bit more vociferous in dong that > . . . . BUT . . . I am aware of several well used (UK based) websites (with well in excess of 2M+ users a week) who do plug into that free / cheap resources afforded by colleges and Uni's . . . .
