I'm obviously in the minority when I notice the broken promises then. Fair enough, must be nice to be able to feel good about it all and focus on the positives.
Hope you all enjoy the season. As I said elsewhere, god knows if anyone deserves to enjoy themselves for a season after the crap they've been through, it's Bradford fans. The way I feel about the club lately, I'm not sure I qualify any more.
I'll go crawl back under my rock.

Sometimes in your working life you can be more than happy in your job but another opportunity arises which you see as a challenge ( and lets face it Bradford is a challenge) and you really want to have a go at it. That's what JK has done. No different to thousands of other people. |

I have no beef, I have wished him and NewCo well already on this tread. My point is that no individual is bigger than the club, JK put himself before the club so it's the right time for him to go.

He may have broken the 'promise' but he does have to consider the fianancial implications. My guess, for what it's worth, is that kear, or any coach of his experience and calibre, wasn't on the horizon when the promise was made, and that when it became known he was interested he may have, to some extent busted the budget, so the 'new' second in command idea was dropped.
Personally, Im very ahppy with it and don't feel in any way short changed, but I can understand others may not think the same. |
