| I think the plan is to get in a strong position off the field, academies, reserves, women's teams etc and obtain a license like Widnes did. More and more noises some sort of licensing is coming back.

They're just being realistic about the situation the club is in, not sure what some people expected tbh.

| Bulls Twitter done a good job of relaying the pre prepared stuff, gone silent on the fan questions it seems.
My initial take away is that aiming for 3k season tickets is... Interesting. A new membership prospect to give people incentive. Hold on, have we gone back in time to three years ago...

The cynic in me says we have heard all this before. AC said all the right things but didn't all the others?
Selling 3k season tickets remains a challenging prospect in my opinion. The same price as last year to watch a part time, sorry, hybrid team play the likes of Oxford. Tempting?

| Same price as last year - to watch a lesser team play in a lower division? wtf?
AC is a true businessman if he can sell this pot of shoite to us.
Has he seen how crap we play - why would anyone choose to buy a season ticket to watch that?
Have I missed something?

What we're you expecting... the guy to be tarred and feathered before being set alight???
The room was very tense before but his presentation, despite not being the most confident speaker seemed to be genuine. Yes heard it before but what do we do? We have to take his word and see what the outcome is.
A lot of sensible things tonight. Acceptance that many part time players are better than the full time ones we can afford/attract. Intention is to put the best team on the field regardless of employment status.
No promises to be promoted but clear timeliness in place as target. Interesting that he believes franchise will be back by 2021. Maybe that is the realistic shut out date for SL.
Glad he said what a few if us have know for months. Graham Lowe in NZ because he had a major heart op and now cannot fly long haul due to medication and health complications. Hope he doesn't become the first real fatality the club claims. It nearly took another employee about the same time but Stu is looking back on form.
Also, RFL and Bradford Council met today to start discussions about future of Odsal. AC believes ground not sustainable unless developed. That's aid he was only one not to bid on condition of the sale of ground. That to me says he knows he hasn't the funds to develop himself and would rather be a partner than the lead.
Overall, I'll take what was said with positive caution and start planning my routes to Bristol, Hemel and Coventry!!!

| Ok
So my takeaway from tonight is this:
A lot of stuff that was said tonight has been said before and we ended up back where we started. However, I think the difference between then and now is that there seems to be at least some sort of plan and timescales for what the club wants to happen and how they plan on achieving it.
The club even plans to have stock including season tickets and new team shirts in the club shop BEFORE Xmas. Who'd have thought THAT was a sensible business practice?
However, actions speak louder than words. So, even though AC has talked the talk (no matter how slowly he did that) he and his team now has to walk the walk.
And more worrying than that is that we currently look to be going into 2018 with the same number of players and coaches we had in the first team when Lowe and Chalmers took over the club

We do have alot more time to find players
I still feel something is going on behind the scenes, I obviously don't know what. Just get that feeling. Maybe to do with Odsal.

So at this stage, what do you actually want? What's your manifesto, given the current situation and not just referencing how things have been done badly before, for reviving the Bradford Bulls?
*Disclaimer, I'm one of their 3,000 as I've been going too long to stop now and I enjoy going and supporting my team regardless. I accept that leaves me open to criticism. But to me the AC pitch tonight sounds like pretty much what a business plan to fix and rebuild things would look like for anyone other than a billionaire.
Obviously it' got to be delivered against, but again, what does good look like to you at this stage?

| I would have thought lowering prices for next year would have been a good start. There was no plan as to how to attract back those who have been lost.
Oh apart from being in The Stampede membership scheme. That will do it. I'm in.

| As an aside, I spoke to Stuart D about the press releases and asked if there was anything that could be done. He said the person who does it has a degree in media! But clearly not in English.
He said that "anything important" is sent to him for proof reading. I did stress that it's embarrassing, which he conceded. I think he is on his case big time now.
