| Fantastic day
What a great performance, has everyone got their calculators out now, how many wins do we need to go up
Hicks was atrocious today, just like d1ck head Salford fans with the flares

| Polar opposite to last week. Best performance of season. Showed that they deserved to be in the mix to try and make it into Super League. Shocked with the result. Proved they can do it without Gaskell as well.
Mullaney looked like he had something to prove and was best player on park until he went off ( hopefully nothing too bad ).
Clare played had a great game at fullback and neilsen was a positive debut.
Salford really did like like all they had to do was turn up and win by 20-30. Forwards give it too them early on, coupled with some good offloading.
I'd have taken 2 out of 3 wins at this stage.

| Mullaney has pulled his hamstring again. If only he could put two games together. He was class today. Someone at the back of me asked if Mullaney is actually better than Gaskell when fit? Good question. Possibly a better "all round" player.
Should have Gaskell back in a fortnight to face Widnes who are beatable.
I still think the bottom line is still to beat Leigh and Fax to get 8 points. I would still rather play Wakey away than such as Salford away. One other win and 10 points gets automatic promotion.
Should we now leave Mullaney out till the Leigh game as they are a must win to at least guarantee a play off chance.
Game on again!

Widnes at home is winnable. I would have said it was more winnable than today's game. If he can play in that, you let him play. For us the Super 8s is all about win your home games. If we do that we are in for a shout for promotion.

| That was just bloody brilliant. Can't remember when we last played that well. Confident, fearless, determined. A joy to watch. Soaked to the skin and happy!

| A really fantastic performance and a big positive that it was in front of the home crowd. We played with the effort and desire that we all wanted to see last week and really took the game to Salford. That 1st half bar a few poor kicks was really good rugby and we strangled the life out of them. I thought Mullaney was immense, the Salford defence just couldn't handle his pace and Purtell showed he is far from 'finished'. Clare looked very at ease at FB today and his run to create the try for Williams was superb. Big difference today's was that the forwards laid a platform. Clough and Sidlow ran themselves to a standstill and Dale Ferguson looks to have found top form at just the right moment.
Surely we need to now try and attempt to go unbeaten at home? Widnes next up, if we can replicate today's effort then anything is possible.
What a difference a week can make in RL!

| We came out today exactly like we should have come out against Wakey but didn't, full of aggression, fired up, and determined to get in their faces and give them no room.
And we kept that level up for the full 80 minutes. It makes the Wakey debacle even harder to understand.
But, we did what we have often done, except this time against a SL side. And we came up with easily our most complete performance of the season, especially when you take into account that we did that with no recognized half backs. Astonishing.
And for once, we did get the run of the ball and the rub of the green on a few occasions, which rarely is the case. But our pack showed what they are made of, and there will be some sore Salford players tonight. The whole team was magnificent, and the endeavour was a joy to behold. It was one of those games where you really did have to be there.
Those bemoaning the re-signing of Purtell should do the decent thing and publicly apologize. He led the way on his side. But our backs generally looked magnificent. And we scored some cracking tries all day long, short range, long range, passing movements, great killer balls, the whole lot.
I don't know why Lowes didn't have them fired up and energized like this against Wakey, but 100% credit to him today, he had them ready to run through walls. And for 80 minutes.
Smashing a SL side, all done with no halfbacks. It doesn't get any better for a Championship side. The only question is who the hell do you drop to let Gaskell back in?
One thing is for sure, today's win was no fluke. We have played similarly before this season, against decent sides, and now we have given a SL side more of the same. Suddenly, we have given Widnes and Hull KR serious reasons for squeaky bums. If THAT Bulls side turns up in THAT mood, then it is not a fixture anyone will relish.

| Fabulous Bulls performance even though I think Salford were dreadful. That could well be due to how well the team got stuck in and made good yards right from the off. Those long range tries were as good as anything we've seen for a few seasons. Brilliant day and makes Wakefield seem almost a distant memory.

| I was at the game. Still a little damp after the heavens opened on full time.
What a performance that was. Our defence was brilliant; we must've pulled off three or four try savers on our own line. Think at 23-4 Salford had a 2 v 1 on Clare and he managed to intercept the pass. We then went on after that and scored 3 more tries.
In attack we played with confidence, with a couple of our tries starting from inside our own 20. The Williams try that started from our own-goal was unbelievable. Didn't know Clare was that fast!
Salford look shell-shocked and didn't know what had hit them. They were dangerous in spells and had a few chances but they coughed up way too much ball.
Very pleased!

| Pee wet through but absolutely buzzing after that win. The forward really made up for last week and the backs were class. I actually thought that Nielsen was our worst player today but I'll put that down to rustiness.
It's a real shame that other fans seem to be putting our win down to Salford being bad. They didn't play well but I put that down to the Bulls smashing them from the off.
