Is it just me that thinks all these interviews about the fact there are no players out there are just softening the blow for the announcement that we are not signing anyone?
Maybe it's just all these years of owners promising so much to deliver so little.

Well if its available props we are after then Tim Grant has had a bust up at Penrith. Just the type we need. Will be on good money at Panthers so the other NRL clubs may struggle to fit him under the cap. It be on the phone to Gus Gould if i was FC

Just a thought but if I had a few shilling to spare on buying a couple of players, particularly if I was paying a transfer fee, then I would be keeping as quiet about it as I could and not announcing that the coach has lots of money to go to market with. As I am sure the value of everyone would increase when I came calling. I would like everyone to think I was a bit hard up as I might get a better price? As I say, just a thought.
