He has no particular reason to make that up so clearly he's been told something by someone who knows more about whats going on than any of us. We might never know the full details, but I'm just glad its over. He wanted to leave, you wanted to sign him, so its best for all that he's in your squad next year and we can move on with our rebuilding.
