On Sunday I sensed a collective feeling of resignation.
I posted on this thread last week hoping that someone (the council , the T & A an MP?) would organise a meeting with the hope someone we all can trust would come forward and head up a fighting fund or similar. I mentioned Simon Foster.
The deafening silence leads me to believe that we will have to hope that a white knight emerges.
Sky text is quoting Potter on a couple of issues-- in particular BG's failure to give a decision on the SL offer. Quite rightly MP is saying if there's no decision by the weekend, Hull KR is his last match

| The Administrator seem to be prevaricating for some reason when I would have thought the decision was largely objective; it meets the criteria or it doesn't.
He, or rather his company, is going to charge the Bulls an arm and a leg for his 'services', my own cost/benefit analysis (admittedly both biased and very subjective) is that we are being screwed. I wonder what the agenda is?

| It's an unfunded administration, so one suspects he will be wondering how he gets paid? He sort of made out early doors that he was doing this as a favour, did he not, and that his partners thought he was mad to take it on? Maybe it's not worked out at all as he or those who appointed him expected? Where it would get really interesting would be if someone, be it SLE or anyone else, offered sod all for the club but said they would discharge some or even all of the debts? Mr administrator would then have a big problem, since the best outcome for the creditors would seem to be the worst one for him?
Should that arise, I fear I would find I could bear his misfortune with considerable fortitude...

He might simply be waiting for a response from the creditors about whether they are prepared to accept the offer. The administrator's primary obligation is to the company's creditors, not the Bulls.
Or he might be trying to work out how he can exclude any assets over which he has a lien on for his fees......

I believe a mysterious bid - promising cash up front - has arrived on Guilfoyle's desk.

Yup. If Caisley did expect to put in a bid of last resort he was "snookered" as you say by the SLE bid.
Interesting that the SLE bid of last week has not been responded to by Guilfoyle so far.
If, as he had previously said, that there were no other bidders, why is he holding back on accepting the SLE bid?
I very much take your point about this being an unfunded administration for Guilfoyle, though there is also an issue for him professionally. Can he deliver a result that leaves the present company or its successor in a viable trading position?. If he can not he will have failed and done P&A's reputation no good.
