Few lapses in concentration cost us. played well in patches.

Beaten by the better side, but imagine both sets of fans will go home frustrated and confused with some of the decisions.

Enjoyed kp's tackle on Hodgson.

Two very poor tries before half time changed the game. Hargreaves will be disappointed with both as he's probably the most improved palyer in the squad. Overall the reason we lost is that their front row got on top of ours and they made lots of metres and we didn't. Nas, Koppy, Bryn, Oli all looked a little leg weary after last weeks efforts and didn't match Carvell, Wood, Westwood etc. I also thought Jeffries struggled last week and this and he doesn't look fit.

Ainscough should have gone forward in the corner when he threw a possible try away, can't understand why he went backwards.

a good game, both teams could have scored more but we really got stuck in. I thought the ripping out/knock on decisions were getting a bit silly.

Platt should have been on the wing instead of ainscough. It was a no brained as he scored last wk and got 2 against widness. KP was solid on the other wing but ainscough has to go once Elliot kear is back. Surely it can't be long now till he's back??

Would have been a tight call as the cover defence were coming over very fast and in numbers, think he did the right thing tbh.

Child didn't award a penalty, what's the problem? He had to put it on report. Bateman could have seriously injured Hodgson, whether intentional or not. If it had been the other way round you lot would have been screaming for sine die. It was as dangerous as Bridge on Jeffries.

Agreed, thought Child made the right call. No penalty and on report. Of more concern will be how the panel view it, I don't think it warrants a ban but you never know how they'll see it!

He was on the last tackle though wasn't he? Nothing much to lose I'd have thought.

Good effort again but our execution was poor at times and it cost us. A few too many errors that gifted Wire possession and points. We needed to play close to our best to get a result today, but it just didn't quite happen unfortunately.

Had to chuckle at the Wigan fans leaving early though...

This is, for me, exactly what on report is for.

Player potentially injured, ref unsure what has gone on, looked aggressive. On report.
It was never a penalty, and shouldn't be a ban but a letter of warning is justified, as Bateman has dropped on Hodgsons head as his neck was bent and it could have been nasty.

End of.

A few observations from todays game;

Warrington are not a special side, they're a waining force that we could and perhaps should have beaten today

Shaun Ainscough can't finish, try diving for the line instead of getting a nose bleed when the line beckons and forces you to run the other way - Watch the tape of todays game for some finishing tips from Joel Monaghan

Luke Gale looks like he could be the answer at 7 for a long time to come icon_biggrin.gif

Bryn Hargreaves is human and has been one of our best players this year, so give him a break for that mistake (game breaker though)

Why are we playing without a recognised full back when we have a number of options at the club including a special kid called Curt Naughton in the juniors

John Bateman is looking at another ban for that tackle on Hodgson, needs to cut out the silly stuff.

Jamie Langley is having his best season in a Bulls jersey, even off loading!

We need to resign Elima, Hargreaves, Kopczack, and Manukofosa for next year our pack is starting to look a bit tasty

I'm growing more confident we'll finish in the play offs this year (if we survive that is!)

That is all, thank you
