At the risk of restarting the thread all over again tt, he's a big, strong, and athletic bloke who certainly has the basic requirements to be an excellent RL player. Fair enough, it's all down to opinions but, in a new training environment, with, maybe, some different ideas, it's impossible to say what the outcome will be. I'm certainly not going to say he definitely won't make it over there.

Except the ones who are. I can tell the difference between those having "a bit of fun" and those being totall arrsewipes. Reckon you can too.

I know what you're saying, but I don't want to believe anyone wouldn't wish him all the best. People may have not wanted him at our club, but I would hope nobody actually wants him to fail elsewhere. If they did, it would be a bit out of order I agree.
He may not be the best player, but he's not a bad lad at all, so it would be nice for him to do well for himself.

I know he is not the most popular but the guy does try and this was evident by the way he tried to change his role, by not putting himself in as many attacking positions and just trying to take hit up's and getting involved in more tackles.'"
He's crap!
He won't last 2 mins in the NRL.
One of the worst players ive seen to ever play in the super league.

he may well be crap, but at least he's got the bottle to back himself and go give the NRL a shot. Unlike a few high profile stars over here who keep talking about it then bottling it. Fielden & Long spring to mind With Roby being the latest example

If your basing that on the game at Knowlesly Rd then me and Dilligaf would agree, he was absolute pants that game but so were a lot of other Bulls players. The problem this last season was that previous Coach had changed the Bulls systems of play to cope with a small squad. Worrincy and a few others found it difficult to adapt to, which showed up glaringly at times, which means the Coaching staff have to take a fair bit of blame for what happend on the pitch as well as individual players.
I'm sure if Worrincy had stayed MP would have got him playing well and better than in 09. Some of the stupid and ignorant racial abuse he got from a small minority of so called fans probably helped him in his decision to try the NRL and I wish him well and hope he does take the chance and gets in their Senior Squad teamsheet on a regular basis

He has all the parts to be a good player. It's just how they're put together. So far what Worriency has produced has been less Aston Martin and more Morris Minor. Hopefully for him this spell in Aus will improve his game.

Now hang on going too far now a Morris Minor is one of the most reliable cars ever made, maybe old and slow but will start first time and finish the trip and get you where you want to be. Can't say that about Worrincy!!!!

You're right. Alpha Romeo would be a better choice.

Can't say I've heard any actual [iracial[/i abuse to be honest. That, obviously, is just a statement of the fact that I haven't heard it, not that it didn't happen, btw. If it did occur then, again being totally honest, I wouldn't think that Aussie would be the best place to escape it.

I have and I know a couple of others who have too. It wasn't full on racial abuse when I heard it at Knowsley Road (which I think is what Blotto is referring to), but it was still referencing his colour when there was absolutely no need.
I know it's been reported before at Odsal but don't know if any action was taken on the back of it.

That's disappointing to hear Dilligaf. I would have hoped that the vast majority of fans, of all clubs, would be above that sort of nonsense these days.
That said, the second part of my post about him going to Australia to 'escape' it, still stands imo. Australians, at least the ones I've been in contact with, are far less, shall we say 'politically correct' in general than is the norm in the UK, and far more likely to stick racist sentiments into general complaints than we are. A bit of a generalisation I admit, but just speaking as I find.
