| I told y'all last week about us bein in talks with Inu - from what I gather it's sorted with us but not with the Eels. However, my source tells me Bulls are confident they will get him. Here's hoping!

I told them a week before that
Regardless, I still hope we get him, and he would be the best centre in SL. Better than Leeds' new centre coup, the only one close imo would be Soliola, but he may be rotated between the SR and centre.

| I've been thinking realistically. Are we really going to sign a 22 year old potentially world class player ? Don't mean to be negative, but any team in SL would want him there, I really hope we are in for him though.

Quote me on this later on in the season but Daryl Millard for Wakefield will be the best centre in SL by a long way. Wakefield will have been laughing when they sold Atkins and got that fella.

I will do that, Inu is twice the player Millard is. Millard seems to go missing in the bigger games, and he doesn't have much power to his game, although he does have alot of finesse, i'll give you that. Poor mans Shontayne Hape imo, will do well, but will be behind Senior, Delaney, Gidley, Inu (if he comes) and possibly Atkins, Shenton or Gleeson depending on form.

Id have to agree with you there, I think he is miles better than Atkins, he will be very good for wakey; wished we hadn't missed out on him. He isnt as good as Inu though so just hope we sign him, doubt it though.

| From what I've seen of Millard last season he seems to have the lot - great speed, change of direction and great hands - he was a complete handful and was unlucky Jamal Idris and Josh Morris had such great seasons. Inu, on the other hand, struggled especially at the start of the season and could barely get in the Parra team, and when he did he certainly didn't set the world on fire. If he was in top form you would suspect he would get in the NZ team before Matai (who is offensively terrible) and a rookie 5/8th playing centre?
He is streets ahead of Senior, Atkins and the like....I found this pretty decent vid

we can sign either a kolpak or a quota player. basically we've got one overseas spot left. We're allowed 6 overseas players next year. upto 5 of these can be quota players any spots unused by quota players available for kolpak players.

correct; rlquotasrl
[i" CLUB TRAINED PLAYER RULE
The new ‘club trained player’ rule stipulates that each club must have at least five players who are aged under 21 years or are graduates from their own academy system in their 25 man first team squad during 2008.
The table below shows how these figures will increase between now and 2011."[/i
Year.... Home-Grown Players... UK-trained... Overseas trained
2010........7....................................12...............6
2011........8....................................12...............5
so our overseas trained players for 2010 are;
1-Nero
2-Hall
3-Kearney
4-Menzies
5-L'Estrange
6-?
With Hall, L'Estrange, Kearney, and the new boy TBA, also being 4 of the 5 for 2011 most likely. Menzies probably to retire and Nero is OOC at the end of 2010.

This has to be a priority re-signing from the club. Hopefully Macca will be in place long enough to see this through as we all know a new antipodean coach will want to bring new blood from the antipodees

Depending on his 2010 form I would think ? If somebody alot better was available then Nero should be let go.
