Phil is my alltime hero and idol. The reason im a musician and singer. He never got the credit as a songwriter when he was alive. So no. Not for me at all...but im biased on that one...died 3 years before i was born anyway

Rubber Soul and Revolver are favourites. Had The White Album been a single album and cut out some of the silliness that appeared to be "fillers", (Revolution Number 9, Piggies, Ob La Di etc.) then it would have been a contender.
That said, two of my favourite Beatles songs ever (Happiness Is a Warm Gun and Sexy Sadie) are on it.

This is great, talking about music with a bunch of rugby league fans...the 2 best things in the world'"
100% TOTALLY AGREE, by far the best live album I've heard. Also Lizzy were the best live act I've ever seen.

My biggest regret of being part of todays YOOF KULCHA. I've seen some killer bands that iv just happened upon, and iv seen some killer bands that are renowned...and iv seen some right rubbish thats rennowned aswel (RHCP) but i've missed my all time favourite band...seen them as they are with Sykes on vocals but its not really the same is it

| TBH, I have never really been a big fan of Live Albums. I will admit to liking Live Killers by Queen, Live in the City of Light by Simple Minds and If You Want Blood (Live) by AC/DC.
I used to like "The Who, Live at Leeds"but due to the location where it was recorded it has now dropped somewhat down the pecking order.

Live Killers - Only live Queen album where Freddie remembers how to sing the songs like he wrote them

I agree. Seeing a band live is a great experience. Hearing it again off a recording never seems as good. Like the new pendulum live cd/dvd. Not a patch on seeing them.

| I know this is going to sound outspoken, harsh, whatever but heres what I think.
Clearly its a massive shock, and musically speaking he's a tremendous loss to the industry, he's a legend really, like his music or not.
I don't however expect to log onto my facebook and see people saying "I love you" to Michael Jackson, and see people nearly crying like they've lost a parent. Fair enough, like I said its a big shock but I think people are getting a bit too over-emotional. And when you consider that a few years ago I bet a chunk of those people were calling him a paedophile or a monster etc.
