| If Sammut turns out to be non quota, then a big Kiwi enforcer would be my top priority.

| I've not been overly impressed with the attack at times - quicker combination in the halfs may improve that next season

| Loose forward in the same mould as Brendan Tuuta would do just fine.

Why do we need ANOTHER half back. We've already got Sammut, Jefferies, Briggs, Gale and Southernwood for next year.
Urgent priority is a nasty aggressive forward. Our pack is no nice it's alomost pathetic. We were getting pushed by 5ft Mcshane against Leeds, only Elima stood up. Would also like another winger (Elliot Kear preferably )

because all the halves on the books, with the exception of southernwood who doesnt look close to first team yet, are better suited to the running standoff role. Gale and maybe Briggs have potential to develop into organising halves but they dont fill that role naturally now. Believe Sammut started as a scrum half in NRL but he hasnt been used in that role at crusaders, instead being given free rein to do the off the cuff stuff.I'm guessing potters planning on developing gale into the organising role with jeffries as backup which is fine long term, but bringing in a deacon/orford type of player would have a more immediate effect on team. Can't see us doing it this year but next year sammu, briggs and jeffries are all OOC so we could well see another half recruited for 2013.
For this years recruitment another winger, karl pryce seems likely, and a aggresive forward seem to be biggest areas to concentrate on.

| Pryce, Purtell, Lulia and Raynor 2 to 5 would be happy with that.

| Darrell Goulding doesnt seem in favour at Wigan, cant see him getting in the team in a hurry with Josh Charnley in such good form.

certainly looks an improvement on this year. been watching Lulia ever since signing was announced and he looks very useful. watched Purtell for full game this morning and was quite impressed. Quite pacy for a big bloke and decent tackler on the whole.

| Keith Lulia looks like a very good signing, his try last week was quality, he has the running style of Iro/Hape. Just hope we actually use our backs next season.

not sure he's a massive improvement on Ainscough TBH. has a height advantage which should be an advantage contesting high balls but think Ainscough has more pace which hopefully Lulia/Purtell can use to our advantage. Think we need to be careful not to go overboard with signings. If we bring too many new faces in then it inevitably takes longer for team to settle down. That said do think we need another winger. assuming sykes and platt both and ainscough signs then only backup for wings is either playing purtell/lulia there or crookes. Dont think finnigan is ready/worth retaining from what I've seen of him playing for sheffield this year.

yeah lulia's try last week was a nice piece of work. He seemed to just run straight between 3 defenders and none of them thought to tackle him.

| Karl Pryce gets a lot of flak for not using his size and his heart in games, which is fair because he could be devastating if he did. Pryce's job though is to score tries, which he has, in a poor team this season 11 in 17 games for the Quins. Overall Pryce has scored 60 tries in 80 games in Super League, put him outside a good centre and he will score for fun. I hope we resign him because we need a natural tryscorer, plus he would be classed as home grown.
