| not beyond the realms of possibility.
maybe MP thinks Ainscough could use a rest? or he just favours Raynors experience for this one.

| Bear in mind that with the short turnaround of games, it's likely players will be rested if there are others who play in their position and are fit. I assume that's why Royston didn't play last week, and if Ainscough does miss out today, that is what I would expect the reasoning to be, since Ah Van & Raynor are fit.
I wouldn't see this as a reflection of his performances. Not unless Mick has been watching a different Shaun Ainscough to me anyway! He will no doubt be disappointed missing out on this game, but I would hope it's rested rather than dropped.

| Ainscough is a much better option, he has been solid under the high ball and he gets caught of position a lot less often than Raynor. He is also our only true pace in the team, which with the number of break away tries Leeds score it could come in very handy.

Id say platt give ainy a good run for his money in speed.

Platt has some decent pace when in full flow but Ainscough appears to be a lot quicker off the mark. Explosive power and pace from a standing/slow start is what we miss in this squad.

| Our right hand side of Platt and Ainy has been one of the few good things we've had going for us this year. They're an affective partnership which it would be foolish to break up. But MP has made a couple of odd selections this year already

| I agree with "debaser". Raynor's positioning in defence is terrible. He almost always comes inside and leaves his opposite number a clear run in. I'm surprised an experienced winger like Raynor makes such schoolboy errors. Hopefully Potter has had a word with him about this.....but I don't hold out any hopes.
