| To be fair to Powell, he was theman that blooded the Leeds youngsters that have served them so well. Can't really knock that record.

| Menzies' odds of being invloved in some capacity might be shortening;
rlhttp://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/apr/26/steve-menzies-bradford-bullsrl
[i"Menzies told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus that he would "definitely consider" an off-field role if he was approached."
"Peter Hood, refused to rule out the suggestion that the 36-year-old Menzies will replace him. (McNamara)"[/i
assistant to someone already in coaching would be ideal for Menzies IMO.
#edit# too slow....

maybe but theres the bit at end about looking outside the club. Menzies would be ideal no 2 I think. maybe get an experienced aussie like foulkes or langer in on a 2 yr deal with a view to menzies taking over at end of it. I know finances are an issue hence the shorter deal.

1589.jpg when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.:1589.jpg |

He used to be known as "mini-bus" because he was only half a proper coach.
SURELY we can do better than that!

| Powell has achieved more as a head coach than all but 2 on that list.

Whats that supposed to mean, I don't get it.
I'm not saying we should go for him, but give him some credit for the players he brought into the Leeds side.
Like those that argue Nobby lived on Smith and Elliots foundations and they should be the ones that take the credit for Bradfordss success, then surley by that logic Powell should be credited with Leeds recent success.

| The more I think about it the more I think it could be Menzies. Maybe with a young up and coming british assistant.
Which IMO wouldnt be a bad choice.

How about Menzies with an older head to assist ie Karl Harrison or James Lowes?
