The Administrator said in the League Express article that he hoped something could be in place as early as Thursday (today), but never said it would be for definite or that it was any kind of deadline. So it's likely that it's now a "we could hear some news any time from now until <insert own pessimistic length of time>". |

It's already been mentioned by the administrator that the wage bill (which was due yesterday I believe) was set to be paid with no problems.

It could be a number of things really. Could be the front runner has paid them and if he doesn't get it in the end, the new owner pays him back. Could be the RFL have advanced/loaned the wage bill for this month. Could be there was enough in the bank account that the administrator managed to use that to pay them. Unless they come out and say where the money came from, I don't think we can read anything into it. |

My guess would be they were paid by the RFL with an agreement from the administrator this would be covered and paid back by new owners. Hence the urgency to resolve this prior to weekend.
