So.... going into the season with only two experienced half backs has already come to bite us

Quite predictable really.

So...various options present themselves.

1. Pickersgill moves up to stand off. Brown takes over at fullback and any number of candidates come in on the wing.

2. Jowitt for Lilley.

3. Race for Lilley.

I can see these options all getting a try vs Keighley. I'd go with the first with Jowitt on the bench. Not sure Race is ready to be thrown in against Fev.

Well many on here think we have a great squad with enough depth so it shouldnt be an issue.......

4. Brough as a single pivot with an extra centre like we did with Iestyn against Wests in 2006 WCC.

To be fair I don't think anyone in the league has 3 experienced halves. Just frustrating it was a bit of dumb play from Lilley that means he's missing.

it was a crazy play from Jordan that has cost him 2 games. I felt at the time he was lucky not to see red for that challenge. He's never really shown 'that' type of behaviour on the field. Perhaps he was a little too eager after a year without a game.
