Wakefield weren't made to do that. Your Administrator chose to do that to keep club going in off season. Did he TRY asking RFL for an advance on TV money, before selling player, like ours did?.

Reading various things in the RL media and what with SL being fairly dog eat dog, I would be amazed if the likes of Hull, Hudds and Warrington haven't made offers.
Has the administrator made any effort to raise any funds for creditors?
I appreciate he has cut back the wage bill by losing back office and coaching staff wages but has he actually realised any assets yet?'"
If clubs had been making genuine offers for Bulls players, which have been turned down by the Administrator, don't you think we would have heard about it? Why haven't there been any complaints in the media from the clubs involved?
Isn't it possible that those clubs have not made offers because they expect the players to become available as free agents?

Thats actually incorrect obst and ferguson were sold after the season started.
If i remember rightly they were sold within the first few weeks of the season.
So if that were the case how were they sold to keep the club going in the off season?
........you clearly dont know what your talking about.

The point is nobody made the administrator sell the players or forced the players to leave. The players couldn't get out quick enough as it was a fait accompli that the Wakefield club would not recieve a new license. There's a number of reasons for this ranging from lack of contribution to the comp over many years to having relatively few supporters. Perhaps you're beginning to see how the circumstances of the Bradford club are totally different from those of the Wakefield club and how, therefore, comparisons are erroneous.
Just for further context how many hundred thousand pounds did the Wakefield fans raise when the then Chairman launched an appeal for funds?

Sod all...because we weren't stupid enough to give more money to the fools that had put us in that mess in the first place!
All you have done is ensure that the previous directors walked away scott free and dragged the whole, sorry affair out.

| I think maybe rightly or wrongly that of the £500k the club would have folded a lnog time ago and we wouldn't have seen the gutsy performances or the spirit like we have over the past few weeks.
If we still fold at the end of the season least we will go with a bang and not a wimper like crusaders did, I would rather go out in a blaze of glory and take pride that we had a great run and did everything we could to make this season happen.
We have seen some great performances along the way and forever let it be remembered that through all the adversity and negativity from others this was their finest hour.

Like it or not your team, YES YOUR TEAM has made a mockery once again of a once proud sport.
I shudder with embarrassment at how our game is run I truly do, IMO there should be no ifs or bits it should be when!
What the RFL are doing is saying to every other club that has financial difficulties....do as you please, we don't care.
It's a shame, a massive shame.

| Yeah, real gutsy to get to the top 8, with a squad that bankrupted your club and have allowed to retain, because someone else is paying for it.
True heroes. Not.

That's the first time I've seen anyone suggest our squad is to blame for our financial nightmare.

So, if your income was sufficient to support your outgoings, including a full cap squad...where did all the money go?
Either earn more, or spend less.k

Really couldn't say, but it seemed the whole Richardson family was employed at BV in some way.
Your whistle suggests you have something to add on that???
