Funnily enough, many years ago, we always got Cas, at home, every new years day and the one thing you could guarantee was that on the way home we all said, "ah well, that's got the first home defeat of the year out of the way".......

I remember the good old days when classy Cas were great to watch and had some top players like Ward, the Beardmores and usually a few decent Aussies. Our only hope used to be to get our big lads amongst them and beat them off the park with brawn. We never out-footballed that Cas side of the 80s.

The conversions were always iffy with jumpers for goal posts.
