| Right I've just pledged 2 x £99 but if the target is not achieved and that increases by 50% that will be a considerable price hike. Not sure how many people would be happy with that, let's hope the 10,000 is met and surpassed fairly quickly to make it irrelevant. Let's face it if you only come to the big matches it's worth it for that alone...

Are you binded by a contractual agreement when you pledge or do you have to pay part of the price or what?'"
You need to have paid your £60 by the 12th of November for it to count.

| Quote: The Biffs Back "IMO the Bulls are quite rightly trying to stop the recent decline in attendances, which is a very good idea in principal
Afterall, "hypothetically" if you reached the magical 10,000 fans and they all signed up to paying £60 for the standing up option, Then this will only bring in £600,000 which wouldn't sustain a SL club in the long term would it not?
How many seasons does this excellent offer last for, have you been told?
If it is for next season only, then the club are clearly hoping that all the season ticket holders will have "the bug" and will return the season after when prices may have to rise slightly and in each subsequent season
If this offer is to be rolled out past next season then the Bulls obviously want to potentially fill the ground to capacity every week and thus reap the rewards in other marketable areas such as merchandising and match day takings inside the ground etc
Obviously the Bulls have done their maths and i applaud them in their efforts to bring those big crowds back once again'"
Quite a few of thsoe pledges will be for the £99 tickets so the 600,000 would increase significantly.

I doubt it's a contractual agreement, but people said the same thing about City's season ticket offer, 'they won't buy a ticket, half of them will change their mind when the time comes to pay up" etc...As it turned out, pretty much everybody kept their word and bought one.

They've obviously planned a budget for next season, and a minimum of £600k from season ticket sales is enough. Other revenue will come from things like sponsorship and their share of the Sky money.

| What people need to understand is that the board are like me in seeing 2011 as the 1996 all over again.
We have a good average attendance to work on for the coming seasons and with a successful side which I feel Mick Potter will delvelop the support will increase back to the 10,000/12,000 average.
All we need now is the Council next Thursday to say yes to the OSV.

It's a pledge, It's not a contract. Like with "Children in need" etc. You're not obliged to pay.
However, they may put your name in the window if you don't cough up.

Unless the shortfall is been underwritten by someone.

I know that, but the fact that i was trying to make was that the club are clearly hoping for far more than 10,000 fans signing up for this deal are they not?
Going by your reply and assuming that all 10,000 fans bought the £99 pass then that is still not enough to sustain a SL club at the top level is it not?
I'm no mathematician, but i am sure that the club has one, and that these subsequent season ticket figures will enable the Bulls to shop at the "top table" yet again

In fact, I have persuaded myself and pledged for 2 tickets! That second bottle might prove quite expensive!
