You make no sense, and sound like you're on drugs. Listen, the proposed deal is a proposal unanimously agreed upon BY EVERY CLUB AND THE RFL. That includes whatever club YOU support.

So how many signatures have you got on your petition of objection, telling SLE you will not turn up to watch a SLE owned club that has the potential to destroy our game by setting a precedent that can never be followed with any other club?

It’s in your hands every bit as much as it is in our hands, and if it goes ahead and you accept it then you are "as bad as the RFL/SLE". Though I await with unbearable expectation you revealing to the world what your alternative is.

Whatever your aims, you seem to be doing feck all about it, and so posting on here whingeing about your half-baked theories is either trolling, or as much as makes no difference, and is certainly utterly pointless as even my goldfish would know that in fact the fans you berate have as much power to stop the SLE acquisition as it has, even if we were made enough to accept your basic premise, which in fact is bollox. You ought to read the SLE press releases and understand what it is they are actually doing before spouting any more drivel..'"

FA, (s)he has a revered place in my internet history; 12 years on message boards and (s)he's the first person I've felt the need to put on ignore. I've got three or four others now, but like Yuri Gagarin and Neil Armstrong he will be long remembered - a trail blazer!!

I understand perfectly well what SLE are doing, and that all the clubs (supposedly) voted for the SLE take over.

What you and your blinkered colleagues can’t see is that this is dangerous for the game and for Bradford Bulls, who is going to come forward and buy Bradford now?

A buyer would have to........

A, Buy the ground back at 1.5m or lease it of the RFL (forever!).

B, Pay back the wages paid out by the RFL/SLE.

C, Pay back or not receive any SKY money next season as you have already had it!!!!

D, Re-Build a team from scratch, as the RFL will not pay massive wages next season.

If Bradford are not sold on by the RFL within a couple of months then I fear the worst for rugby league in this country, you tell me how all the other clubs can support a money pit of a club!!!

Throwing good money after bad has become a dangerous habit of the RFL in recent years, this take over makes no financial sense what so ever, and stinks of RFL incompetence again!

If the RFL did not own the Bulls ground then this would have been laughed out of red hall, the RFL are trying recover as much money as they can and save face, the first mistake was to buy the ground and attempt to cover up the poor state of affairs at the Bulls.

The Bulls have been a great team, but it is not up to the rest of SL to save you!

I support Hull KR not SLE or Bradford, I see no value in what the SL is doing!

On Sunday I sensed a collective feeling of resignation.
I posted on this thread last week hoping that someone (the council , the T & A an MP?) would organise a meeting with the hope someone we all can trust would come forward and head up a fighting fund or similar. I mentioned Simon Foster.
The deafening silence leads me to believe that we will have to hope that a white knight emerges.
Sky text is quoting Potter on a couple of issues-- in particular BG's failure to give a decision on the SL offer. Quite rightly MP is saying if there's no decision by the weekend, Hull KR is his last match

The Administrator seem to be prevaricating for some reason when I would have thought the decision was largely objective; it meets the criteria or it doesn't.

He, or rather his company, is going to charge the Bulls an arm and a leg for his 'services', my own cost/benefit analysis (admittedly both biased and very subjective) is that we are being screwed. I wonder what the agenda is?

It's an unfunded administration, so one suspects he will be wondering how he gets paid? He sort of made out early doors that he was doing this as a favour, did he not, and that his partners thought he was mad to take it on? Maybe it's not worked out at all as he or those who appointed him expected? Where it would get really interesting would be if someone, be it SLE or anyone else, offered sod all for the club but said they would discharge some or even all of the debts? Mr administrator would then have a big problem, since the best outcome for the creditors would seem to be the worst one for him?

Should that arise, I fear I would find I could bear his misfortune with considerable fortitude...

He might simply be waiting for a response from the creditors about whether they are prepared to accept the offer. The administrator's primary obligation is to the company's creditors, not the Bulls.

Or he might be trying to work out how he can exclude any assets over which he has a lien on for his fees......

I believe a mysterious bid - promising cash up front - has arrived on Guilfoyle's desk.

does the bidder have to pass a "fit and proper persons test" by the RFL to be considered

Yup. If Caisley did expect to put in a bid of last resort he was "snookered" as you say by the SLE bid.
Interesting that the SLE bid of last week has not been responded to by Guilfoyle so far.
If, as he had previously said, that there were no other bidders, why is he holding back on accepting the SLE bid?
I very much take your point about this being an unfunded administration for Guilfoyle, though there is also an issue for him professionally. Can he deliver a result that leaves the present company or its successor in a viable trading position?. If he can not he will have failed and done P&A's reputation no good.
