| Adey - do you think he was more forced out then? Noble to return?
And OK is not a Sugar Daddy, a Sugar Daddy is a person who can afford to just pile money into the club. Peter Hood was not a sugar daddy and neither is Omar Khan. If OK had millions then fair enough. People like Davy and Moran are sugar daddies. Pumping money in, yes this method works (as seen with Moran) but Davy's hasn't. If Davy pulls the pin Huddersfield are screwed simple. Hopefully OK will get the point where if he leaves it won't be huge (like Davy leaving or Moran leaving).

| Quote: Cripesginger "that is right...a players contract should cease to exist if the club drop out of SL. For 13 clubs a player may have a reasonable expectation that they will have 2 more years in SL for the Bulls it is potentially more doubtful. Sure Bulls will offer contracts of more than a year. They will probably have to pay 'overs' to get players.'"
love this guy - if we follow his theory, no player can be signed for longer than the next licencing period!!

| Absolutely chuffed to bits. But the hard work and planning must start now and I feel the fans will need to once again pull together and work with OK to get this club back on it's feet. We've not only missed the start but been lapped a couple of times in terms of recruitment for next year.

Nah. Sugar Daddy is not nor ever was a term of abuse, it is the common phrase for someone who provides the substantial extra that allows what might be a mid-to-low-table club to miraculously buy the top players.
Once we have a top-3 squad and then tempt Lockyer out of retirement I'll gladly accept your argument.

| Can't believe people surprised and shocked by this, the RFL were never gonna do the correct thing after buying the lease on the ground.
Well it's open season for every other club now, might as well get shut of the salary cap and licensing cos it's all a load of bollox
Red hall should hang its head in shame after today it's corrupt from top to bottom!!

| The vast majority of SL people are not surprised, and expected that this would be the eventual outcome.
Its been said before on this forum that bulls were always, "too big to fail." ...........even after a year of " probation ". I guess you will still too big to fail ( just a but more embarrassing ).
I just hope the next club, whatever their size, that goes into administration gets the same, time and support, from the RL to sort their greed.
Wait an see, hey ? ..................... ?

I think your sugar daddy has provided substantial funds that allows a potential championship side to buy SL players - a few may be top players!
I expect the references to the sugar daddies at other clubs will be seen less on here in the future.
I await the Lockyer signing with interest.

Didn't your lot do away with the salary cap years ago?
