If certain posters continue to break the AUP and post things solely to have a go at others this thread will be locked and bans considered.

I dont understand all the abuse Mick gets, he is doing us a service which we most likely wouldn't have otherwise.

May not be perfect but who is, something that helps fans who cant travel for various reasons, I think he is doing a commendable job with Hobbo, both tbf are no worse than the team from sky.

Agree, especially considering the vast improvement in the commentary this year (no disrespect intended to JP last season, who I also thought did a good job). The facilities these guys have as some places to broadcast is laughable - are lass noticed them both at Workington sat in the main stand instead of a media box! Considering that, and the rumours that they do it for free, I think we should be over the moon with the service we get. Especially those who live away and can't make every home game.....

For the utter avoidance of any doubt I second this. I'm really uncomfortable with people criticising and mocking a named individual in the manner we've been seeing. No one is immune to criticism but common courtesy shouldn't fly out of the window in doing so.

Believe me, Bullseye, Bulliac and myself want to keep the relatively understated moderation of this forum exactly as it is, and not have to make us all look like d1cks by telling you how to behave.

Well, living 8,500 miles away, up the side of a mountain and deep in the jungle, I look forward to the commentary's that they both give on BCB (We can get it via the app on the Police internet here in the Barangay). We've been sat in the stands on mobile phones at Batley, Dewsbury, London, Sheffield, Whitehaven and Workington this season.

From a broadcasters point of view these grounds are a nightmare to navigate.

I'm fine with harsh criticism, but some of the stick bordering on abuse my colleague Mark Hobson gets on here and social media platforms is a bit unnecessary.

Mark is actually thinking of quiting at the end of the season and has decided to take a month off commentary duty to recharge the batteries with an around the world cruise.

I've never fully understood those supporters that tweet in abuse at Mark.

There's simply no need for it.

This is really disappointing to hear. I hope things change quickly.
