I'm bored of reading about Matt Orford, from when the rumours started we've had nearly 5 months or so of this now.

Surely to god the conclusion must now be in sight??

few posters on Canberra message boards seem to think it might be resolved this week so we live in hope.

When Orford finally pegs it and goes to meet his maker...and promptly gets booted downstairs for being a liar and an all-round total and complete wakner, he gets told that you end up being submerged in poo to a level equivalent to your crimes whilst you were alive.

Orford fears the worst, obviously, but is pleasantly surprised to find he is only stood in poo up to his waist.

And its then that he finds he is standing on George Mimis' shoulders...

That is poetic!!

There WILL be at least one new half.. maybe two.

I'm not going to name names, as it's quite sensitive and this could affect the signings etc but we'll definitely have another half on the way

Is it likely to be a 6 or a 7? or are we likely to get a former full back who has done a good job in the halves?

Thanks guys, i'm sure we will be paying the fee, i hope we pay it, it doesn't count under the salary cap, we are very keen to get him here because we need an experienced half, our 5/8 Terry Campese done his knee in the finals and will be out till mid next year,

There was a rumor this week that Bradford and Orford had come to terms with us at Canberra and there is going to be an announcement early next week, but who knows anymore, its dragging on to long.

Thankyou Paul, i have trust in your sources over many people on here and that has cheered me up on what has been a dry spell for 'Rumours'

thats good enough for me. I'll take one of pauls 'rumours' over any of the self proclaimed experts on here any day of the week.

Reading between the lines (and using a fair amount of imagination and guesswork) Paul's suggestion looks to me like some form of player exchange - that being much more sensitive than 'just' a player coming in.

I'm going for that seemingly mental Chase/Hall/Godwin/Olbison rumour being bang on the money. And on that basis, I'm off to start drinking.

Cant see godwin going anywhere, potter was talking about what he expects of him next year.. altho id love to be proven wrong
