TBF when Mathers' was first suggested I thought, ok maybe on a 6-month deal until Campbell is up to speed. But I dunno if you can sign someone for half a season.

But we have Oscar Thomas who went well in the friendly and is pretty quick. Clare can play there.

Decent players will become available in the year who will IMPROVE our squad, why don't we just be patient and wait for them.

Annoying thing is, i can see Mathers being one of Jimmy's favourites and it will turn into another Lauaki situation where dispite being poor, he won't be dropped.
