Mentioned in paragraph about half way down article. Don't think it was every announced on club website as such though. Suspect it was due to rumoured off field incident which led to Davies retiring. Shame as he looked a handful in friendly last year. |

Did enough in training and friendlies to get a bench squad number - 16 - got injured, loaned out for a few friendlies iirc, then retired. Putting your body on the line for money clearly carries risks. Interesting to know what this off field incident was tho.

He was in a car accident not sure if it's that tho. |

I also heard he was injured in a fight on an night out... supposedly broke/damaged his jaw and its left him with permanent damage.
Shame as he looked promising at Leeds but sometimes players make bad decisions that ends up changing lives (look at the Walker/Bailey case a few years back). Thats life |

Saw this on twitter this morning. Not sure how the Rabbitohs fans have taken the news, but to lose such a great player in Dylan Walker and then replace him with Nielsen I can't imagine they'll be too happy.
Sacrifices had to be made to get Burgess back I suppose. |
