Simple truth is we need a prop. Sidlow isn't going to be playing for England but he's steady away; we were late coming to the party so we only have the chance of what's left, anyway Sidlow is a decent player who only became available recently so it's much better than might have been.

^ Salford will soon be letting go anyone who is attracting interest if they don't soon sort out their financial situation. The Sidlow deal has been in the pipeline for ages, Bradford have waited and waited and played their hand smartly to save a fee/Platt from going the other way. Wouldn't surprise me if a few other players have similar deals to this in place.
