Very disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm today. Although Flanagan got MOM I thought DFJ was the best player out there and hardly put a foot wrong. He's a great finisher. We badly need another real half back in the team. Brown does his best but is not really playing a half back's role. He's a winger and needs must.

Foggy hardly put a foot wrong?

He dropped the ball in the in goal that cost us a try in the 1st half and was caught 10m in field giving their winger a walk in in the second.
Hes got plenty of effort but terrible in defence.

Pickersgill has got away with it almost every week and still gets picked.

Thats because we and many other teams are told play a very compressed defence and get caught out. If we're talking about mistakes made by our team today we could be here all night.

I agree. Mistakes made all over the park by everyone. It was a really poor effort and we were lucky to get the win in the end, but to say Foggy hardly put a foot wrong when he cost us 2 trys, is laughable.

Two mistakes is a good ratio when compared with some other players mistakes. Pickersgill bombed a try when it was nailed on and missed umpteen one on one tackles. Brown threw out some terrible passes one of which gited them their second try. Fleming lost the ball twice in contact as did Hallas. DFJ took his try very well and coped with high balls very well. He makes more yards when it contact than some of our forwards.

Disappointed we didn't give Jowitt another go when he was in the squad and showed a nice pass against Widnes. I'm not knocking Brown but we have no shape at all. If we're looking to achieve anything in the play offs then we need another option for Lilley/Brough and it isn't Brown. Plus, it's meant to be entertainment.

That was pretty dreadful. Swinton weren't really great but we just kept inviting them back in the game time and time again. Think the last seconds summed it up. Decent set defended. Swinton were in their own 40, only danger is a 40/20 and our half back/winger was up in the defensive line. He got away with it but it showed the total lack of game awareness.

Agreed about the other comments regarding the half backs. Brown at HB in attack then wing in defence just isn't working. Time to go with Jowitt or Matty Race who scored again today.

At least its a win but we need to get this sloppiness out of our system for the play-offs, but we seem to be making the same mistakes every week. Look comfortable then invite teams back into games.

How long until we are expecting Brough back?

He must be close, he was catching the ball in the warm up.

They originally said they were targeting York game for his return so possibly next week. Sounds promising if he was involved in warmup.
